Alaska boasts many such challenges, no one can say which is best. I have just read, The River of Doubt, Millard, Candice. It is now called the Rio Roosevelt. The Colorado River out of Moab Utah is amazing. That's the river we've been on the most. Westwater Canyon is one of the wildest parts. We also went on the Kicking Horse River up in British Columbia and it was a great trip. The Arkansas River in Colorado is a decent trip. There are some decent rapids on Snake River out of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It's a short run tho but you can run it several times in a day. Depends whеrе уου′re going.
