I am going on a road trip with my twin sister, two cousins and my uncle. Doesn’t matter about the age. What river is the best? I want intense waters and EXTREME sports. Any ideas? Also if you know any place that can teach me how to cave dive that would be awesome.

where are u going?
Depends where you’re going. The Colorado River out of Moab Utah is amazing. That’s the river we’ve been on the most. Westwater Canyon is one of the wildest parts.
We also went on the Kicking Horse River up in British Columbia and it was a great trip.
The Arkansas River in Colorado is a decent trip.
There are some decent rapids on Snake River out of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It’s a short run tho but you can run it several times in a day.
Sorry, there is no answer to your question. A ‘best river’ could be one that has never had drownings. A ‘best river’ could be one with the most drownings. I’ve read that rivers in Corsica are really challenging. They are rated by the number of deaths that have happened. Inquire at the Nantahala Outdoor Center about their off-shore adventure trips. Alaska boasts many such challenges, no one can say which is best. I have just read, The River of Doubt, Millard, Candice. It is now called the Rio Roosevelt. The description of it meets your requirements.
I mostly kayak on the Rogue and Klamath Rivers in Oregon. This is a big country with lots of rivers, What type of kayaking experience do you have?
